Planning your visit
These online resources aim to give you all the essential information you need for your school visit.
However it may be useful to familiarise yourself with the house before you visit. The house is open to the public at weekends from 10.00 - 4.30 on Saturday and 11.00 - 4.30 on Sunday. Admission is free.

How to get to Bishops House

Bishops House is on Norton Lees Lane, Sheffield, S8 9BE. Buses 20 and 1 from the City Centre stop nearby.
Coaches can drop off outside the house in a marked bay.
Coats, bags and lunchboxes can be stored inside wicker chests on the first floor. Space is limited.
Bishops House is a listed building with limited disabled access and a single toilet facility.
Please arrive at least five minutes before your session is due to begin.

Lunch Lunch can be eaten in the house or in Meersbrook Park.
Arrival
Please sign in at the welcome desk inside the shop.
The workshop leader will meet you. Please let them know the number of children and adults and any special needs (i.e. essential medication).
We recommend that there is a minimum of four adults accompanying the group. Teachers and adults MUST remain in supervision of their pupils at all times.
Please remember to bring enough copies of the worksheets for each pupil.
